Innovative Energy Group, in line with Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) requirements, is officially announcing the name change from Ciboney Group Limited to Innovative Energy Group Limited.
Executive Chairman, Nigel Davy, said the occasion was one of great pride for the company, a culmination of months of diligent work by the team, as well as the commencement of a new period of growth and achievement.
“We are pleased to be officially forging ahead under the Innovative Energy Group banner, and we look forward to the continued pursuit of new business opportunities and the provision of high-value solutions to our clients and partners.”
Davy further outlined the process of the name change, which was approved by Shareholders at an AGM held on December 6, 2023. Subsequently, the Companies Office completed the legal process of the name change on March 6, 2024. Other changes approved at the AGM included the adoption of new Articles of Incorporation and increasing the share capital of the company.
With those processes now satisfactorily completed, the company will be officially changing its ticker symbol and strip at the JSE during early April.
